I believe that love alone might do these things for you
I believe in love alone
Take the power to set you free
Kick down the door and throw away the key
Give up your needs
Your poisoned seeds
Find yourself elected to a different kind of creed

I believe in the power of creation
I believe in the good vibration
I believe in love alone

Won't somebody tell me what we're coming to?
It might take forever till we watch those dreams come true
All the money in the world won't buy you peace of mind
You can have it all but you still won't be satisfied...

Now, hear this
Pay attention to me
Because I'm a rich white girl and it's plain to see,
I got every kind of thing that the money can buy
Let me tell you all about it
Let me amplify, I got diamonds?
You heard about those
I got so many that I can't close my safe at night in the dark
Lying awake in a sick dream....

Money can't buy it.
Sex can't buy it.
Drugs can't buy it.
You can't buy it..

Perception of Ideas

by JRAP

I tied to wander in the hallways frequented and at times inhabited by ideas but unluckily, what I ended up was nothing. What I perceived was delusion for me, at least for the time being. I almost thought that what I feared most is already happening. It spoiled my perception of the end for me.

All of these maybe pushed me to the brink of silence and freedom of expression but it failed to control my brain. It may have succeeded but only for a while. What kept me up is my willingness and determination.

No matter how absurd or moronic they maybe, I know for sure that somebody out there share the same as with me. Stale and idle they may be, the important thing is I expressed it in a manner knowledgeable to all. And for you to get involved, affected or moved is just a triumphant confirmation that what I do is worthy enough.

Will

Molested
Abused
Mauled
Stepped on profusely

Stopped
Barred
Prevented
For living fully

Rejected
Maligned
Gagged
From the freedom that I enjoy

Busted
Wrecked
Wasted I now employ

Cursed
Sworn to
By the things I used to do

Belittled
Antagonized
All gone even the few

Raped
Burnt
Left nothing with me

Saddened
Strayed
Death now I see

Darkness
Emptiness
Creeping at me

Feared
Trembled
Roar of a strange voice

Telling
Whispering
I have to make a choice

It’s going to take a while
Or I guess eternity
To realize

Better get ready
For what might
Turn to vice

Stayed away from
Ignored
But I won’t adhere

This broken
Twisted
Perception of fear

Though rejected
Misused
Stand up will I

Unable
Disabled
And cease to when I die

Destiny

Call it fate if you want but I was moved from the movie that I saw last night. I’m usually fond of action, suspense and mystery type but this time, I saw myself being drawn to a romantic feel-good movie. The movie is entitled ‘The Lucky One’. There was something about it that intrigued me. It was destiny, as was themed by the movie.

It is absolutely true what it said that destiny sometimes come in least unexpected circumstances. The people around you, the places and even the sudden glow on your face are things uncalled for. Things happen for a purpose be it good or bad.

It is only our prerogative to invite destiny to play a role in our lives or not. Through this life, it’s destiny or fate that guides us. We still have final say on how we are going to live it. A beautiful and happy life is the one that is lived fully made and guided by destiny.

déjà vu

Have you ever experienced déjà vu? It is that feeling of an instance happening all over again. It’s like being in the same situation before. I know that explanations are quite paranormal but should we be wary of this condition? Is our being spontaneous starting to dwindle?

To overcome these moments, we must double-check it in our minds every detail. Comparison is always an option. Circumstances may look the same but differs in details if closely analyzed. Always be aware of what’s happening. A thing or two unnoticed can create a big impact.

Know what you do. It is great when you know exactly the circumstances surrounding your action. Study the possibilities and repercussions. Take all angles in consideration. Take the necessary steps in trying to revise and change the intended outcome.

With everyday events happening and for us trying to add a little dimension, life would not be so boring at all anyway.

power of sleep

‘’Following stroke, patients may be faced with occupational dysfunction. Occupational performance capacity may become impaired, impacting on their physical, cognitive and psychosocial capacity to adapt to effectively meet the demands of and engage in their usual occupations, thus impinging on their occupational identity, health and well-being.’’ (Occupational Therapy and Stroke, Second Edition, Edited by Judi Edmans).

To hear or simply read such lines from the expert simplifies a thing. Whatever way one puts it. It spells restraint. Because of the incapacitation on everything, tears came running down my cheeks again. It went down together with my hopes and dreams. Depressed and felt fallen apart, I resorted to my last known solution to these; although temporary, it felt good, I slept.

It does not solve anything but waking up gave me a new perspective on how to face this dilemma.

How I wish it was all a dream
Those things may not be as it seems
New life and hope I guess
Nothing but me in a dress

Though wrecked, everything new
All turned alternately black and blue
Left me with sanity and needed wisdom
To lift myself and carry all along

Telling me please don’t bother
Asking or look in another
Or tell me what it is all about
All I can say is: I’m down, but definitely not out!
